Blythe Masters is currently the Head of Global Commodities of J.P. Morgan’s Investment Bank, where she has worked since 1991. She is also a member of the JPMorgan Chase Executive Committee. Previously, Blythe was Chief Financial Officer and prior to that, Head of Global Credit Portfolio and Credit Policy and Strategy. She recently served as Chair of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA). Blythe has spearheaded JPMorgan Chase’s strong intercompany efforts for the Komen New York City Race for the Cure and has herself been the top fundraiser for the Race every year since 2006.

Laila J. Worrell is a Partner at Accenture, leading the firm's private equity client group. She has served in leadership roles in Accenture's mergers and acquisitions practice and also spent seven years in Accenture's change management practice. Laila previously headed strategy and corporate development for Macmillan Publishers USA and worked with CNNfn founder Lou Dobbs to launch Imaginova, a company focused on science news and education. Laila was selected by the Partnership for New York City as a David Rockefeller Fellow and currently serves on the technology sector group for the New York City Investment Fund. She holds an MBA from Harvard University and a BA from the University of Texas.
Treasurer, Secretary & Governance Committee Chair
Ivy Gamble Cobb, LMSW, is the Executive Director of The Family Center. The mission of The Family Center is to strengthen families affected by illness, crisis, or loss to create a more secure present and future for their children. We believe every child deserves an answer to the question “Who will take care of me?” Ivy was part of a team of four women who established The Family Center in 1994. Prior to co-founding The Family Center, Ivy worked at the NYC Department of Social Services Division of AIDS Services as a Family Case Manager and as a Program Planner. Ivy is featured in the video “A Gift for My Children: Families Talk about Custody Planning”, and has co-authored articles on the issue of families affected by parental illness. Ivy received her Bachelors Degree from New York University, her Masters degree in Social Work from Hunter College School of Social Work and has earned credits towards a PhD in Social Welfare.

Ayala Deutsch is Senior Vice President & Chief Intellectual Property Counsel at the NBA, where she oversees the acquisition, protection and enforcement throughout the world of intellectual property rights belonging to the National Basketball Association, the Women’s National Basketball Association, the National Basketball Association Development League and USA Basketball. Ms. Deutsch received her J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1989. Ms. Deutsch currently serves on the Women in the Profession Committee of the New York City Bar Association and is an adjunct professor of sports law at Cardozo School of Law.
Annual Awards Luncheon Co-Chair
Award-winning anchor Maurice DuBois is the co-anchor of "CBS 2 News This Morning" weekdays from 5-7 a.m. He joined WCBS-TV in September 2004. At CBS News, he substitutes as news anchor for the weekend editions of "The CBS Evening News" and "The Early Show." A Long Island native, Maurice spent seven years at WNBC-TV, where he was also substitute news anchor on various NBC News and MSNBC programs, before joining WCBS-TV. Previously, Maurice worked in Chicago, Sacramento, and Seattle. He has won many journalism and community awards, including four Emmys and Honorary PhDs from Seton Hall University and Medgar Evers College. He earned his B.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University. He and his wife live in Manhattan.
Joseph Gold is Managing Director, Head of Commodities, Americas for Barclays Capital. Joe joined Barclays Capital in London in February of 2002 to help build the firm’s power and gas trading business. Prior to joining Barclays Capital, he was a Managing Director of Enron Europe where he worked in the UK and Continental power markets and the international base metals markets. Before entering the energy markets, Mr. Gold worked for First Chicago focusing on distressed debt. Mr. Gold has a Bachelors degree from Marquette University (1988) and an MBA from the University of Chicago (1994).

Kyle Good is Vice President, Corporate Communications and Media Relations at Scholastic, the global children’s publishing, education and media company. She oversees Media Relations, Internal Communications, Corporate Productions and Creative Services, the Scholastic Library, Scholastic Event Services and the Scholastic Store in SoHo in New York City. Kyle has more than 30 years experience in journalism, children’s advocacy and public relations. Prior to joining Scholastic, she served as Director of Communications for the Children’s Defense Fund (CDF)-New York and was a producer/director at CBS News and NBC News from 1977 to 1994. She began her career as a teacher in Fairfax County, Virginia.
Sandra L. Kozlowski is currently a Director at CTPartners, the global, senior-level executive recruiting and leadership consulting firm, where she has worked since 2011. Previously, Sandy worked at Heidrick & Struggles and as a corporate associate at the law firm Goodwin Procter LLP. She is an active member of the Bars of the States of New York and Massachusetts. Sandy formed the Komen Greater NYC Young Professionals Committee and currently serves as Chairperson. She holds both a Juris Doctorate and a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College.
Young Professionals Committee Chair
Jeanne was appointed as Commissioner of the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) in April 2002 by Mayor Bloomberg. Prior to her appointment, Jeanne was Vice President of External Relations for The After-School Corporation (TASC), overseeing government affairs and media relations. Before that, she shaped legislative and policy proposals relating to criminal justice and victim-related topics as Deputy Director of Intergovernmental Relations for the NYS Attorney General Office. Throughout the 1990s, she held several senior management positions at Safe Horizon, a major not-for-profit provider of programs for NYC crime victims. Jeanne has been appointed by the Mayor to several prominent City-wide commissions, including the Commission for Economic Opportunity, the Temporary Commission on Day Laborer Job Centers and the Commission on Construction Opportunity. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Swarthmore College, and a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law.
Ruth Oratz is Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at New York University School of Medicine and the founder and director of the Women’s Oncology and Wellness Practice. A medical oncologist, she created the practice to provide women with breast cancer a unique environment offering state-of-the-art medical care in an intimate, personal and private setting. Patient treatment is individualized, including access to clinical trials, genetic counseling and testing, patient education and integration of cancer care with overall health and wellness. The practice also addresses patients’ concerns about family, career, relationships and sexuality. Ruth serves on advisory boards of several organizations that support women with breast cancer and their families, including breastcancer.org, Living Beyond Breast Cancer, CancerCare, Sharsheret, and the Metastatic Breast Cancer Network of New York.
Medical Advisory Committee Chair
Linda Sage, an author and award winning journalist, received her Master’s degree in journalism from the University of Michigan. Currently Linda and her husband Donald are co-owners of Danscott Enterprises, Inc., and winners of the coveted DaVinci Award for empowering people with disabilities. Earlier, Linda was the children’s editor at Good Housekeeping magazine, a Hearst Publication, and worked in public relations for AT&T and Cornell Medical Center.
Jane Scheinfeld is President of The Larry and Jane Scheinfeld Foundation, where she advocates for women’s and children’s health issues. After receiving her BS in Marketing and Finance from Syracuse University, Jane spent 15 years in investment banking, the last nine at Manufacturers Hanover as a specialist in tax alternative investment strategies. In 1990, Jane founded and was CEO of Fashion Advisory Co., selling the company in 2000. Since then, she has focused her time and efforts on the nonprofit world. Jane is a member of The International Director's Council of the Guggenheim Museum and previously served on the board of Women At Risk, the breast cancer program at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. Jane is passionate about enhancing the lives of women and families who are impacted by breast cancer through education, support and research.
Dr. Schneider holds the Albert B. Sabin chair of molecular pathogenesis at the NYU School of Medicine. He received his Ph.D. from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed postdoctoral training at Princeton University in tumor virus-host cell interactions. He joined the faculty at NYU School of Medicine in 1986, was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 1991 and to Full Professor in 1996. Bob has devoted his research career for over 20 years to elucidating the fundamental mechanisms by which cancers develop, ultimately focusing his research about six years ago on the development, progression and metastasis of breast cancer. He has published over 100 papers in these and related areas and is the recipient of a number of awards. Bob has trained over 40 graduate students and postdoctoral research fellows and has awarded 23 Ph.D. degrees from his laboratory.
Bill Shelton is a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs in the Securities Division. In addition to his current roles as board member and Race chair at the Komen Greater New York City Affiliate, he serves as board chair for the Morehouse Leadership Center and an advisory board member for the National Association to Protect Children.
Race Co-Chair
Nikki Tippins is Managing Director, Head of Americas Equity Derivatives Distribution, for Morgan Stanley. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2009, she was Managing Director at JPMorgan, where she spent 14 years, in both New York and London. Before entering the banking industry, Nikki qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte & Touche in London. Nikki holds a BA/MA in Mathematics from Cambridge University, England, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
Annual Awards Luncheon Co-Chair
Kathy has been employed at Oppenheimer & Co for over 16 years and is now a Managing Director. She currently works in the U.S. Equity Capital Markets Division where she serves as a Deal Captain on Managed Equity IPO's and Follow-On Public offerings. She is also responsible for marketing and allocating shares to the Private Client Division of 1,400 brokers in 80-plus branch offices. She served as Secretary of the Bond Club of New York Inc. for eight years and is currently a member of the Board of Governors. She also served as Treasurer, V.P. and President of the Women's Syndicate Association and currently serves on the Advisory Board. She holds a B.S. in Economics and an A.A.S. in Business.
